In addition to being each of the Hill Brothers' school programs is curriculum-based and satisfies Learning Standards across several disciplines including Social Studies, English Language Arts, Languages other than English, and of course, The Arts.

I'm Gonna Take Good Care of Myself!

The Hill Brothers have turned their creative talents to the all-important issues of nutrition and wellness for this action-packed assembly program. Infectiously catchy new songs and plenty of fun activities inspire students to take great care of themselves with a healthy diet and plenty of exercise. A drug-free message is included too, along with lots of friendly motivation to help kids combat today's "largest" problem -- obesity.

This program is interactive from start to finish, ensuring that the messages are "taken to heart".

Grades K-6 40 minutes

There's No Place for Bullies in Our School!

The Hill Brothers have combined the latest research and hours of discussions with school counselors into an uplifting musical celebration packed with singing, humor and great messages about bullying in school. Students will be empowered to take a stand against bullying in all of it's forms as they chant "There's No Place For Bullies in Our School!".

Special attention is also given to techniques for responding to bullying situations, both as a victim AND as a bystander.

Respect, Responsibility and Teamwork

As seen at the 2002 Pennsylvania State Education Association Conference

A fun-filled, entertaining concert which promotes the principles of respect, responsibility and teamwork, and emphasizes the message that Good Character is Cool!

The Hill Brothers use original songs, interactive dialogue, belly-slapping humor and tons of audience activities to rally your school around the concept of Good Character and highlight the many positive things (age-appropriate) that can happen for students through very simple actions on their parts.

A Rockin Concert to Celebrate Reading


As seen at the New York State PTA PARP Conference & the Niagara Frontier Reading Council Fall Conference

Get your school really excited about reading with this high-energy assembly program! Perfect to kickoff or conclude Parents as Reading Partners(PARP), Reading Is Fundamental (RIF), Accelerated Reader, OhioReads! or other reading incentive programs, or simply as a fun concert with an all-important message, this show uses singable, original upbeat songs and even a disco tune to get students really fired up to read!

The messages in this program are very clear: reading is fun, it's something we can all learn to do, it enables us to follow our dreams and become anything we want to be, and it can take us on some fascinating new adventures. As with all Hill Brothers performances, you can expect lots of laughs and surprises along with tons of audience participation!

Celebrate the Planet


A brand new show created by sister Susie about the environment, recycling, and caring for our home - "Mama Earth". We celebrate our planet through song, humor, and of course tons of audience participation. Everyone will be singin', hootin' like owls, howlin' like coyotes, clapping, and forming a band featuring instruments from around the world.

Folk Music, Bluegrass & Appalachian Mountain Music


Introduce your students to the sounds of American folk, bluegrass and traditional music. With the recent success of the Grammy Award-winning "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou" soundtrack, this music has been rediscovered as a symbol of American traditions and spirit. Using spoons, pennywhistle, washtub bass, dulcimer, banjo, acoustic guitar and more, the Hill Brothers present a lively concert full of humor, singalongs and loads of audience participation while students absorb valuable lessons in America's history, geography, cultural makeup and values!

A great program to celebrate America, rural &/or harvest themes, any national holiday, Music in the Schools month or simply as a fun treat for the students (your music teacher will like it too!).

Multiculturalism in America


This lively concert highlights and celebrates the multicultural stew that is America. The Hill Brothers combine fun songs from Russia, Africa, Ireland, Mexico and more (many of which students will know) with loads of audience participation to celebrate the diversity of cultures in our country, and in our own communities. The perfect complement to multicultural and diversity programs, immigration studies, international/ethnic/world communities themes, American themes and Music in the Schools Month.

Songs and Stories from NY State's history & the Erie Canal

Enrich your social studies curriculum through song and story! This program focuses on music and folklore from New York State's history with a special emphasis on the Erie Canal. The Hill Brothers use humor, great songs from the period and lots of audience participation in this fun-filled musical trip across the state. Perfectly complements 4th and 7th grade New York State social studies curriculum, yet fun enough for all grades to enjoy.

Sing, Giggle, Wiggle & Smile

For the youngest audiences, a special 30-minute program of singing & clapping songs, funny skits and interactive stories. This show provides a welcome opportunity for students to interact with a musical performance while simultaneously learning some important skills in being a good audience member.

A Warm Celebration of the Season

Fill your school with song & celebration this holiday season. The Hill Brothers bring their favorite stringed instruments, their humor, and of course their love for singing along for this one - a song and story celebration of the many holidays taking place during this magical time of year. This highly interactive program can be performed during the school day or in the evening, and early reservations are recommended! A special holiday treat for students and faculty!

A fun-filled evening (or afternoon) of singalongs, humor, and participatory songs from all of the above mentioned programs - kind of a Hill Brothers' grab bag! This is a warm get-together for all ages to share, perfect for PTA family nights, ice cream socials, library events, end of the year celebrations, festivals, town parks, community events, parents days and more.
